Optimara: Plant Care Products

Optimara plant care products are the direct outcome of Optimara's "Total Growing" concept. Out of endless years of documenting tests on soil samples, watering methods and fertilizer compositions, Optimara has developed a precise understanding of the conditions under which African Violets and other flowering house plants thrive. While seeking to duplicate these conditions at their greenhouses, Optimara has developed a line of the highest quality, consumer plant care products.

Optimara Watermaid

A convenient self-watering system which uses a special blend of absorbent matting to draw water from the saucer into the soil, allowing plants to use only as much water as they need.
Waters up to two weeks without refilling, making it ideal for customers who want to grow house plants, but don't always have time to care for them.
Accommodates all pot sizes up to 6 inches.

Optimara MaxiWell

The original self-watering device for standard African Violets (4-inch pot size).
Uses capillary wicking to draw just the right amount of water into the soil.
Sculpted design is available in a number of colors.

Optimara Violet Food 14-12-14

Fully-dissolving fertilizer developed to encourage rich, green foliage and luxuriant flowering.
pH and EC monitored to promote the optimal absorption of nutrients.
Cannot cause root burn, since it does not contain urea nitrogen.
Convenient, pre-measured pouches.

Optimara Plant Food 20-5-10

Fully-dissolving fertilizer developed to encourage rich, green foliage and strong roots.
pH and EC monitored to promote the optimal absorption of nutrients.

Special mix of peat moss and other agents especailly designed for African violets
Contains minerals and water-obsorbent materials to enhance African violet growth and health
