Leaves Curl Up

Leaves are curling up on the edges.

Additional Symptoms

• Leaves curl up only on the tip.
• Leaves pale mostly in the crown. Other leaves may be affected, but the chlorosis appears predominantly in the young leaves of the crown.
• Leaves pale mostly on the older, larger leaves.
• Leaves darken on the edge. Edges appear brown in color.
• Leaves darken only on the tip. Tips appear brown in color.
• Leaves have yellow spots on them.
• Leaves have dark speckles on them. These speckles may appear on either the upper surface or the underside of the leaves.
• Leaves have a spotty, black fungus on them (Sooty Mold).
• Leaves have honeydew on them. Honeydew is a sticky, shiny substance excreted by insects.
• Leaves are brittle or cracked.
• Leaves wilt. They may appear translucent brown with a soft, jelly-like consistency.
• Leaves have scarring on the upperside of them.
• Flower buds are not opening.
• Flowers are smaller than normal.
• Flowers are damaged. They may have holes in them.
• Flowers are deformed or twisted.
• Flowers are blotchy or streaked.
• Crown has excessive plant hairs growing from it.
• Crown pales. Other leaves may be affected, but the chlorosis appears predominantly in the young leaves of the crown.
• Visible insects or related pests. These pests may only be visible with a magnifying glass.
