Visible Insects or Other Pests Described
They are insects which measure 1/4 to 3/4 inch in length. They are social insects, working together to locate and gather food. Some feed on the honeydew of Aphids. Those found on Violets will normally be wingless. All have antennae with a distinct elbow. They are usually brown, black or red in color.
